The Grid Fan is our solution to heatsoak in the autocross grid or between track sessions. The single fan power unit runs on a Milwaukee 12 volt type battery (battery and charger not included). Using a single 6 amp hour battery we have achieved a 50 minute run time on the single fan units, and a 25 minute run time on the dual fan units.

Built for autocross, the Grid Fan features a hole for your intercooler sprayer nozzle, a handle for quick removal, and an easy access on/off power switch.

The Grid Fan is recommended for use both on top mount intercoolers, and to push cooler air to the air filter location. By using the Grid Fan at the factory intake snorkus of a 2015 Subaru WRX, intake temperature drops of 15-20℉ have been easily been achieved by pushing cooler air into the air box.

For use on top mount intercoolers, the Grid Fan should be used with water spraying on the intercooler for the best results to achieve evaporative cooling.

The Grid Fan not only keeps your engine safer by providing cooler intake temps, it also helps maintain peak power levels. A 15–20°F drop in intake temps can recover up to 12 horsepower by allowing your engine to run cooler, maintain optimal boost, and avoid timing pull.

Most pro tuners build safety into the ECU by pulling ignition timing or boost when intake air temps get too hot—often around 120–140°F. On warmer summer days, your intake temps in grid are likely riding a fine line between telling the ECU to pull power, or maintain full power. The Grid Fan helps keep you under that limit for longer than just water spray, or no maintenance at all.
